i have yamaha sz r i want to make altration like r15 or fazer how can i make it

Altering SZ R is not at all possible and it is as hard as manufacturing a new bike by hand, and I wont recommend u to do that.

Better buy a new Fazer or R15 after exchanging or selling ur SZ-R.

Ofcourz Hari you can, As many bikers follow this trend of fitting R15 doom to their bikes.I’ve seen Apache,Pulsar,Karizma,Unicorn and even Passion all different Manufacturers going easy with R15 doom.R15 doom costs around 7000 INR and fitting charges depend on bike stations an average of 5000INR will be costed. The main thing to watch while altering is
*doesn’t affect the position of instrument cluster(speedometer panel)
*doesn’t collide with the engine(after removing the crash guard)
*have a free play of the Handle bar.
Go ahead if the above factors are positive..

Yamaha R 15 is best bike.

comparison shall be based on mileage and reliability.

Karizma ZMR is better than Apache 180 RTR ..Apache has vibrations at high speeds..engine problems like oil leakage..& unreliable engine..the performance looses in long time…The TVS tires r of bad quality & ABS system is not as good like the ones on Honda CBR250R….Go 4 Karizma R or ZMR…if u want a good bike that lasts longer with good reliability…& lasting performance 4 long term use…

Well in terms of shear excitement to drive a bike, apache is good, and abs helps a lot, you will notice it in rains. Will save you a million times.

About karizma, really not well engineering bike. If reliability is the thing you are looking for , both the bikes are good. almost same. karizma has a 220 cc engine, and apache has 180cc, don’t know about fuel efficiency but its really upon how you drive. Drive them slow and you will manage 40 kpl with both

Apache is best..

But any problem in Transportation so visit this site …

karizhma zmr is best in terms of reliability………..apache will have little edge over karizma though it fuel injected in terms of mileage…overall karizhma is best choice……..consider R15 also

The Karizma zmr is more reliable bike than the apache. But you ought to be getting 5kmpl or something more mileage on the apache.

karizma zmr is the best bike.

i recently got my motorcycle license and ive been looking for a bike, i was thinking of getting an old bike from the years 1970 to 2005, any good recomendations would be highly appreciated.

It is great that you want to start off on a used bike.I own and restore old Hondas from the late ’60s to late ’70s.I just really like the old ones. There are lots of old Hondas out there. If you can, check Craigslist or some classified.A few tips for buying an old one.
1.)Make sure it runs.So many old ones are sold on promises of "just needs a battery/carb clean/fresh gas etc."You might have a costly project if it doesn’t run.(If it runs badly, you might have a project for your repair shop…but not as expensive.)
2.)Try to get one that is complete and original. Two reasons. It will be easier to fix things if you can look at a schematic and see part numbers. It will make it more valuable when you go to resell it.
3.)Get one with electric start. If it has kick start also, all the better, but electric start will help you when you inevitably stall in traffic as you practice.
4.)There are more old Hondas than old bikes of the other brands for sale (in my area at least). There are new and used parts available for most old Hondas (more than the other brands).[Check websites like bike bandit and CMSNL.com before you buy one to see if it was a popular enough model to still have lots of parts for sale.]
In the 70′s I would recommend a CB or CL 100cc to 360 cc.This website has a handy list according to engine size.http://www.motorera.com/honda/index.htm

I would get a bike between 250cc – 600cc but, that depends on your size
if you are skinny – 250cc
if you are big – 600cc
The newer bikes are lighter than the old ones and are easier for a beginner
this is assuming you are not looking at a sports bikes
sports bikes are NOT for beginners

you would be paying more for an older bike which may require work o be done to it, 1st learn to ride then learn to re-furb ish. A honda cg125 is a good starter bike then browse the magazines for older bikes and see if there is any thing worth buying to do up.

since, you are a begginer..you can choose 100cc bikes like HH splendor.

Honda Shadow vlx600

yamaha rx100

karizma. and Aisha- karizmas are 223cc not 160cc. dont answer if u dont know the answer

and where is it located on a 125cc scooter, and is it hard to replace

The piston is in the very center of your engine. It pumps up and down when exploding gas forces it, transferring the rotational energy to your drive sprocket. If you are looking at buying a scooter that needs a new piston for some reason, then I would say yes it is one of the most challenging things to replace on a motor, and should best be left to a professional.

Unless of course you are referring to the piston in a brake caliper, but I doubt it

It’s the part that goes up and down in the barrel which is easy to find as you’ll see the exhaust coming out of it. It’s fairly simple to replace but you have to take into account that the piston rings are easily broken and need to be oriented correctly on the piston. Also the bolt/nuts need to be tightened to the correct torque or you could end up damaging the barrel/head when it heats up. Also make sure the piston is the right way around when you fit it or you’ll damage the barrel.

Buy a Haynes manual for your scooter if you’re unsure but still want to DIY.

Replacing a piston requires having the cylinder re-honed or re-bored to match the new piston. This requires the services of a competent machine shop.Dis-assembly and re-assembly have to be done just right. You also will need new piston rings of the correct size.Your question indicates a very low level of mechanical knowledge, so do NOT try to do any of this work yourself.Otherwise, you will own a piece of scrap metal rather than a scooter.

Merans doing a top end of the engine rebuild and your level of knowledge would indicarte you are not going to be able to tackle that at least not alone.
Will require a few new parts and some special tooling it sounds like you have not got

It’s a useless piece of metal that the manufacturer fits to increase weight and therefore reduce the performance of your machine. When you find it, take it out and smash it with a hammer.

The better question is; why does someone who knows so little about motorcycles have one as his avatar?

if you go to fast it’s likely to break it or similar like on a saturday night after too many beers u go home pist n broke!

Hey guys I’m just wondering about mirrors on a bike. I live in Minnesota so the laws may be different. I wanna buy some new bar end mirrors but just one is pretty expensive, there not sold as a pair. So would it be legal to just have one bar end? Or do I need to buy two?? Thanks guys

Check with your DMV.Usually, one is the legal requirement. Some places insist on the same number as the vehicle was originally equipped with (which is pretty much always two these days). In the case of bar-end mirrors especially, you’re opening yourself up to a major blind spot, however.I have bar-end mirrors on two of my bikes, and wouldn’t ride with only one.Usually, bikes with such mirrors also have low handlebars, making shoulder-checks more difficult and less revealing of hazards.

First off, if stopped it will be an ‘equipment violation’ so just take care of it afterward.
Second, get the one mirror, install it and make the other side look like there ‘was’ a mirror installed. If stopped for any reason, the mirror ‘was just stolen’.
Good luck

bar end mirrors cause drag your probably better with mount on the bras/bars type stem mirror/s.

Hey guys I have a ’96 ducati m900 and it’s got 2 front discs. Right now the line goes to a line splitter mounted to the frame, I dot like it. Also the lines are old black rubber. Where can I find some nice metal braided lines with a t-split in them? I think that’s what it’s called just where one line splits at a T to go from one line equally to two discs. Also it would be nice if they fit my bike, where there any other monsters that had this? Thanks guys

Russell may make a brake line kit for your specific bike. You can also go for two separate lines running straight from the master cylinder to each caliper–it’s easier to bleed without a T-junction.Some shops can custom make stainless lines for your bike:That’s what I did for one of my bikes for which a kit was no longer available.

Google "Motorcycle Brake Lines" and start shopping

for your own safety check this out with your local dealer, dont mess with brakes unless u r sure u know how to do it.

I have a 2000 CBR600F4 and when I bought the bike it had an HID kit attached to it. I took it off because the light would always shut off at higher revs, especially in gear. So I bypassed all of those units and went by the stock connection and connected a stock H4 Halogen bulb in. Both the low and high filaments blew at the same point as the the HID kit turned of the bulb. Could it be my resonator? My generator? All of the wires have been traced back to check for stock connection. Thanks alot!

Tricky question to answer especially not knowing what else MAY have been changed out from stock to make the HIDs work in the first place. I think you will need to trace out all of the components and verify them as stock items before anything else.
One thing I can say with 99.99% accuracy is that it is not your generator (alternator), its juice goes to the rectifier/regulator and dispersed from there.
Good luck.
